The project included challenging site work as a result of high water table and extremely rocky soil conditions. Provided value engineering which reduced construction costs by 5% and included changing forced hot air heating system to radiant flooring system.
- Locally harvested siding, wood flooring and timber framing
- Native plantings
- Worked with the owner to allow local members an opportunity to perform elements of the project
- The existing structure continued to operate as a classroom throughout the construction of the addition.
